It’s super-super hot here. At least, that’s what the non-Texan contingent of our team thinks. Still, it’s never too hot to admire the skills of our woodworking community, preferably with ice-cream in hand.

Rocking Chair by parstein
This is my second rocking chair, made for the parents in law. The wood alder and I got it from an ancient water powered saw mill in south east Germany. The seat I built based on a 25 steel springs prefabricated core, padded with canvas, polymeric fibre, fleece and a covering of natural leather. This time the rocker are steamed and bend instead of laminated. Great fun, again and a browny with the inlaws ;_)
Face Vice by Norbert Pauli
Inspired by some nice builts I was looking to find the means to make a wooden vice screw. The vice jaw holds a runner 7cm square an 60cm long. Joined to the jaw by through mortice and wedged tennon. All pices are made of steamed beech.
Bench Stool by Rob Martin
A modified version of the bench stool project with two prongs mounted to one of the bottom rails so that the stool can double as a guitar stand when not in use. The seat and guitar rests are mahogany, and the frame is sapele. (The pictured guitar belongs to my brother. I did not make it.)

Great projects, all! But I have to say, @RobMartin, that bench stool really struck a chord with me. đ, (sorry…). Great idea.
I’m unable to open many, but not all of the photographs. My computer tells me there is a certification issue, the certificate does not match the certificate for the website… Attention by the webmaster required?
