The mirror stand relies on four-stepped and stopped housing dadoes that must be well fitting so that they own a friction fit and do not rely on just glue alone. The steps are repeated for each of the four joints, and this is a great project for getting to grips with what seems like a simple joint but is often found loose on different projects. Paul put great emphasis on the steps to walk you through what is an important joint with an equally important process. All of the joints were good and tight without being too tight. Join Paul in the process and enjoy the journey too.
