Somebody’s been to art school and paid attention in drafting class.
Super layout work Greg. You’ve got a hidden background somewhere there. As an artist myself, I’m glad Paul encourages all his students to draw. It should be taught as part of any foundation course where hand and eye coordination are required.
Thanks for helping others to visualize.
Joe B.
Thanks Joe.
No hidden background…I’ve yammered on about it on here a few times.
I post these…
1. In the spirit of sharing, I always do them anyway.
2. An example may inspire someone to have a go at it on their own.
Greg, I’m about to start work on my dad’s Christmas cane, so your timing is perfect. Thanks for this.
Greg
Thanks for that I have made got as far today as joining the handle to the shaft and shaping both. I kinda worked out the sizes from Paul’s video but I will keep a copy of your layout drawing for future reference as I have not got into the habit of keeping a log of projects completed
Thanks
Love your drawings Greg.
I like even the way you do boarder of title box.
Not a straight rectangular box like I would probably do but a box with rounded corners and etched round the edge. Cool.
Also use of colour.
Hi Greg
Thats a brilliant example of how to plan any project… I’m inspired and will try my best to plan my work to that standard. Thanks.
