Well, it’s been a busy few months here at Woodworking Masterclasses, both with our move (which is ongoing) and with changes to aspects of the website including the video library. We also started a new Facebook page and Instagram account, so follow us there for more from behind the scenes.
Many of you have been watching and making our new Workbench series which has equipped more people than ever with a firm foundation in woodworking. We have answered some of the most common questions for those making it. There was also our definitive guide on Sizing Dovetails for all your dovetailed projects out there, as well as–hot off the press–Paul’s illustration of the many ways of Using a Scrub Plane. Watch out for more tips and tricks from Paul’s years of woodworking as well as freshly developed techniques that help to progress accuracy and care in your woodworking.
For our premium projects, the Bedside Cabinet came to an end and we introduced Paul’s new design for a Leaning Wall Shelf which brought us to the end of February. The final episode of the Coat Rack project went up this week, with the new series on making a Blanket Chest hot on its heals.
We’ve had quite a few requests for this series, and we’re exited to see it come together. We are filming this series it in a temporary space at our new unit, and are really looking forward to fitting out and moving into our new purpose made studio downstairs.
That’s it for now. Don’t forget to keep an eye on our social media, and head to Paul’s blog and YouTube channel for more woodworking treasures as well as updates on the studio fit-out. Many thanks from the whole team,
Phil and the Woodworking Masterclasses Team
