Behind the Scenes – The technical team
Woodworking Masterclasses is a juxtaposition of mostly hand tool woodworking with hi-tech filming and web based technologies. In order to keep it running, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Let’s take a look at some of what is involved in making that happen.
Joseph provides the direction and focus for Woodworking Masterclasses as a whole. Calling on his woodworking experience, he is always thinking about how the website and communications can be developed and improved to help people engage with woodworking. He works alongside website developers to streamline woodworkingmasterclasses.com, as well as being the driving force behind publishing Essential Woodworking Hand Tools.
You may have seen Mark’s name pop up on Woodworking Masterclasses, as he posts the weekly videos, as well as posting Gallery Goodness in the news feed and dealing with many people’s technical queries. Mark does a lot more behind the scenes, such as emailing about video releases and dealing with the accounts as well as book and DVD sales. He also comes up with great ideas for engaging with all of you and making things more sleek and colourful.
For more info on who’s involved in running Woodworking Masterclasses, see the ‘About Us’ page.
Keep your eyes peeled for more from behind the scenes at Woodworking Masterclasses.
Happy Woodworking,
Phil Adams

Hi there from Portugal,
Nice work team 😀
Obrigado(Thanks)
Hey team. Thank you guys for what you do to bring Pauls vision of sharing this slowed down approach to finer woodworking to people, who for whatever reason, wouldn’t find the time or inclination to go about it in more traditional schools.
Hi team good to meet you. Could I just feed back the recent addition of the pop ups on the home screen are really annoying after you’ve answered the same question multiple times.
Cheers
Hi Angus,
Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the inconvenience. They are supposed to disappear once filled in or clicked on, but that isn’t working at the moment. We are working on getting it resolved. Pressing the x on the box should remove it and never see it return, but we to get it working properly for the next survey.
Best, Phil
Hi behind the scenes team. You are doing a great job, working in the computer industry for the past 35 years I know it is not easy to make it all happen. You also never get enough pats on the back for all you do. I know you all work very hard to make Paul look good and to bring us great content. Well from my end I think you are ALL doing a great job. Thank you all for all you do to make my woodworking experience enjoy able and the want to keep coming back. Just know that we all do appreciate it..
Thank you for the kind comments. I will pass them on to the rest of the team
Best, Phil
